Nissan Donates Ultimate Parks Titan to Grand Canyon Conservancy

100 years ago, the Grand Canyon National Park opened, and since then, millions of visitors have hiked corridor trails and taken in the one-of-a-kind landscape. It's a quintessential outdoors experience that you just can't get anywhere else. In celebration of its centennial, the team at Nissan announced that they are donating what they are calling the Ultimate Parks Titan, an exclusive Titan model that has been specially built for park support with the Grand Canyon Conservancy initiative.

More specifically, this one-of-a-kind Titan truck will be used with the Canyon Field School, a youth program that allows youngsters to experience all that the Grand Canyon has to offer. With the addition of the new Ultimate Parks Titan, the Arizona Conservation Corps has become a grantee of the National Park Foundation and is committed to repairing the worn trails and improving the park's overall infrastructure.

The Ultimate Parks Titan is based off the 2019 Nissan Titan XD Gas Pro-4X Crew Cab model and comes packing a 5.6-liter V8 engine that produces 390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque. This power output helps it achieve a maximum payload of 2,990 pounds and a towing rating of 11,680 pounds. It comes with four-wheel drive that is augmented by a transfer case that dynamically distributes torque during more rugged driving situations.

The Titan is also equipped with several safety features including Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, and Brake Limited-Slip Differential. A three-inch suspension lift kit is also installed, not just for the looks, but to help it traverse over more complex terrain.
