Just in case you didn't hear the news, the upcoming 2019 Ram 1500 was just recently revealed and the new iteration of the 1500 cuts no corners and makes no compromises to bring you the ultimate trucking experience. Among many of the changes, one of the most interesting is the adoption of the eTorque system that replaced the alternator with a motor/generator unit that pairs with the 48-volt lithium-ion battery; this provides you with a quick torque boost of 90 lb-ft to the V6 engines and 130 lb-ft to the V8 engines when you need it the most.
