- You have more recourse if you're unhappy with your purchase. A good dealership will typically allow you to return a vehicle you purchased during a limited window of time if you're unhappy with it. They're also required to follow stringent laws that minimize the chance that you'll be stuck with a "lemon" or an undisclosed salvage vehicle.
